民鳥舎
民（たみ）と 鳥（とり）の 舎（いえ）と書いて、「みどりしゃ」と読みます。
布まわりのものを中心に、東京で製作をしています。
MIDORISHA
The works of searching for and selecting materials, thinking about the design of clothes one by one, fixing the breakage, and disassembling one to make another. These often feel that I am approaching the fundamental sense of the ancestors who have been dealing with cloth and the human body, rather than something at the forefront of this times. The history of clothing designs and accessories is quite long. It is said that people started the practice of crafting garments with the concept of decoration, not just for cold weather and skin protection, from the prehistoric era or even older.
The characters of the name of Midorisha are written as 民"folks" and 鳥"bird" and 舎”house”.
I personally think that I am doing something that is not much different from the time when people were making cloths and were wearing by themselves while staying close to nature in their own home.
